So does he have a job?

Will he be coaching in 2015?

Did not want to start a new topic, so I'm posting this article which suggests that JL should be the DC at Oklahoma. BTW, In there it also mentions that JL turned down a position with Washington State.

Oklahoma addition

Making the Case for Jim leavitt

Where Is He Now?

As most of you know, Jim Harbaugh left the 49ers this year to take the head coaching job at Michigan. So Jim Leavitt is currently available. I asked some folks in the Tampa area, and I’m told that Leavitt still very much wants to coach but it sounds like he’s looking for the right opportunity. I was told he was offered a position at Washington State (not sure if it was as a DC or position coach) but turned it down.

Read the entire article at:

OMG LEAVITT GO TO WASHINGTON STATE (I now live in Washington), I would instantly go to every game.

This article was a great read, thanks for sharing.

Interesting, don't think I have ever gone to game because of a coordinator.

Have you ever seen God take a position as coordinator? Leavitt is as close as it gets.

Yeah, if he coulda seen the perfect storm. Fired angry beat writer, disgruntled donors, jealous weak AD and a kid that had problems with the truth.

I don't even consider those things in my day to day, no way Leavitt could have had the foresight or imagination.

No, I mean contacting those involved during the investigation which resulted in immediate dismissal. He didn't see that, obviously. Or he'd end up on lists like this one by Comcast, http://xfinity.comcast.net/slideshow/sports-disgracedcollegecoaches/6/.

The Jim Leavitt is a saint and totally free from doing anything wrong in these events is a good conspiracy theory though.

I saw that Leavitt was the ILB coach. So he coached only 3 of the 8 LBs on the 49ers, didn't coach Smith, Lynch or Brooks, Fangio coached the OLBs.

Something's wrong with that list. Says Calipari is ex-Kentucky, and doesb''t include Mike Rice

He spoke to a player on his team that was up, admittedly, in the coaches area of the admin bldg.

Oldest investigation trick in the book.

Or are you referring to the alleged church meeting where the known liar and thief father allegedly recorded Leavitt without his permission?

Or the phony and fabricated "I'm the most powerful man in the building" line.

We've been through this before slick. He's your bully maximus.

Slick, Leavitt is perfect.  The rest of the world did him wrong.  Leavitt did nothing to get himself fired, he should not take any responsibility for himself.  Any good liberal should realize this.

How many times are you going to post this just for the sake of posting it? That's pretty pathetic.

Funny you would think that. Seems a rather stupid conclusion for a man of your intelligence.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
