Would love to see a video of when USF won at Pitt the 1st time we played them when we were 1AA transitioning to 1A. Blackwell to Rubin was great. So many college football fans were stunned on how USF handled Pitt in their brand new stadium. Beano Cook was shocked. It was basically the coming out party for Leavitt in the Bulls which eventually helped get USF into the BCS BIG EAST conference years later. USF players were so confident back then that they feared no one. Not sure USF will ever get that back. Hoping CWT can stun the college football world again next season.

What I remember from those years is a defense that hit hard and terrorized quarterbacks.

Little bit early to be holding a wake for USF football.  USF football is limping now, but it ain't dead yet.  Time for everyone to help get the program recharged and back in high gear...it can be done.

Coincidentally, came across a buried dvd album that contained about a dozen sleeves of some games recorded from those golden years, 05-09 .... Popped a couple in just to see if they still worked. They did .... but it was pretty painful to watch. One thing did stand out, though .... The awesome helmets.
