I don't see how that would work. Either they turn around the offense which saves Taggarts job or they don't which would make them look too incompetent to be promoted to HC. The coach in waiting thing usually only works with a HC who is close to retirement or in some cases, in danger of being poached, neither of which would apply here. There is a better than likely chance that the entire coaching staff is let go a year from now. USF football is radioactive right now. this.
