Boooooo, you destroyed the campus with all your fancy facilities. BOOOOOOOOOOOOO

What don't you get about THEY ARE USF'S facilities, not Woolard's.  He was well behind UCF in facility upgrades where USF should have been the leader.  He got people to donate their money for these facilities but that wasn't something that every other AD in the country doesn't do regularly.  Woolard gave Holtz an unwanted, unneeded and unwarranted contract extension to provide himself with his own self-serving contract extension.  He NEVER pressured coaches concerning W/L records and success and had NEVER gotten with said coaches to ask them what they may have needed or wanted to be more successful.  In a concise sentence, "he forgot the largest focus of his job as a leader of athletics and that is WINNING".  He never courted small donors (i.e. < $25,000/yr) and never focused on expanding the donor base.  If not for major gifts by USF alumni, you wouldn't be pushing this nonsense.  Remember, he's a freaking Saluki not a Bull, he was a highly paid employee with mediocre success at fundraising.........that's ALL he is.

Largest athletic project at any D1 school in 25 years. What don't you get about that? Is it confusing? No other AD had planned, raised funds and oversaw such a project in decades. Stop acting like it was some easy, expected event. LRS didn't do it. Harlan didn't do it at UCLA.

This was bigger than Minnesota's OCS?  I think I'd prefer an OCS and some better coaches.  But, that's just me.

Gotta start with something, and facilities are a good place to start for attracting players. Now if we could just attract some fans....

Multi-sport construction project, not a football stadium. They are talking about the athletic village for multiple sports.

Cool.  Thanks for clarifying, Slick.  I caught a game at the new Sun Dome last season.  Impressive.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that he couldn't land a better gig than that.

It appears to be the college in his hometown.

Better than special advisor to a college in your hometown? That's basically printing money.
