As the team confirmed he was calling a play not a spike. Then it makes that third down run call look really stupid...with the way we call in plays they are lucky they got it off in time. I have no doubt that Harlan was at the game. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he has attended all of them.

Remember it was 4th and goal and precious seconds were ticking by and all of us at home or at the game were wondering why the hesitation on Mike White's part to get the play off. Well if you look at the tape, previously White had gone to the sidelines and Taggart signalled to spike the ball. Mike went back, started to get into position and there was a hesitation like he was confused. Most likely when the call was made to spike the ball, Austin Reiter our Center, had the presence of mind to remind Mike it was 4th & goal. CWT was still standing on the sidelines with the signal to spike the ball. Benghazi!

Didn't show Taggart between the run and the TD pass. He didn't signal before the play to spike. He was calling the next play and confirming it with a passing motion (which could be mistaken for a spiking notion maybe somehow?).

Promote Bench to head coach. Profit. I got someone better. Ironside's dad was his H.S. head coach, gets into the GA state 6A playoffs pretty much yearly. Was a starting QB at MTSU and knows how to coach QBs. One of his TDs is listed on this best of list for MTSU. http://www.murfreesboropost.com/news.php?viewStory=832http://youtu.be/5XBD3NnWtzc
