Remember it was 4th and goal and precious seconds were ticking by and all of us at home or at the game were wondering why the hesitation on Mike White's part to get the play off. Well if you look at the tape, previously White had gone to the sidelines and Taggart signalled to spike the ball. Mike went back, started to get into position and there was a hesitation like he was confused. Most likely when the call was made to spike the ball, Austin Reiter our Center, had the presence of mind to remind Mike it was 4th & goal. CWT was still standing on the sidelines with the signal to spike the ball. White looked over at him making sure that was the correct call. Steven Bench was behind CWT and over the year he and Mike White have developed a rapport since they both are QB's. Steven standing behind CWT had the presence of mind to call the play in despite CWT's call and Mike saw Bench's signal and ran the play. Thus giving us the win. Had he listend to CWT we would have lost. So on that note I would like to thank some players who played the way they should have despite the coach. They deserve to be proud!!!! Unfortunately there can't be much pride because CWT has it all! But as I have said before, "PRIDE GOES BEFORE THE FALL!" I can see that being mistook for spike if you are in a hurry in a high stress situation.

I would take that all day long if they did that from start to finish. The problem is that USF should have no business being down in that game. Going for it on 4 and 2 on 1st drive was not a good call. Look at that to help your argument.

Taggart needs to grow a pair and own up to his performance, and commit to excellence in 2015. Take a remedial coaching class, I don't care, just learn the dm game. Lack of getting play call off in 2Q is inexcusable.
