I dont believe we can say that White is by far the best QB on the roster. I think Bench and White are close and Bench definitely brings some things to the table White doesnt.

I mentioned else that Flowers should not have started yesterday, and in fact, should be reshirting this year. That was apparent from the first time he was thrust into the game.

Things we can say about White is he knows the play book better, is more accurate, can lead the team down the field against a bad team, is a supportive teammate, and stares down his receivers to no end.

I'm not sure how you can say there was no pressure in this situation...

no pressure in the fact that the loss wouldn't be because of his play at QB. Great job leading the team to a comeback win. We can only speculate how things would have been if he started.

By the way, you guys realize that Mike White is still our youngest QB at 19 right? QF is 20, Bench is 22 I believe.

 

The reason I bring it up, is because it could explain his past mental mistakes. I believe he will or is in the process of growing past it. He needs to be coached up. I, for one, am disappointed in our QB coach...

Don't be dramatic. I am not condemning him. The guy needs more time in practice. I believe he should be the backup QB at this stage in his career.

I wasn't trying to be dramatic, merely advocating for the kid.

This is an offense that requires time and experience to be run effectively. If bench had figured it out by now he would be starting. I believe that flowers can be the guy one day but he needs to sit and learn for now. White is not a great qb but he knows the offense and let's face it, nobody has shown they can get points on the board consistently other than white. He still has a lot of potential people. Start him and worry about the qb position as white serves as the bridge to our qb of the future.
