Frustrated-Bull Question

Oh boy, the old, 'but at least I have my health' comments...

 

JTrue is right, we suck at Football but I am always proud to be a Bull. Man o man do I want this dumpster fire to turn sooner than later, give us the old 8-5 years!  

 

Oh man, how I wish for an 8 - 5 season as well.  Those were the days.  We were just moaning and groaning about bowl games and not winning championships then.  LMAO.

In California they sure do.. Had multiple people yell "Go Dons" at me in USF gear..

Some of them we're mad that we had usf.edu even though we hadn't been around ad long as them, I told them we are just the better USF as evidenced by our higher ups being smart enough to register websites quicker..

It's not as bad now as it was 20 years ago.

When asked how the Bulls are doing I say, "Struggling mightly.  Need a QB.  Offense sucks 'cuz they can't play catch at all.  Defense spends to much time on the field.  Bulls are rebuilding."   Sometime I'm asked about CJL from educated CF fasns.  I tell them, "The big dollar alums that got CJL fired were clueless about college football.  And CJL screwed himself by attempting to cover-up slapping a player at halftime".  His replacement Skip Holtz couldn't recruit for jack.  After three season he left USF with virtually no talent.  Hence the current situation."  I plan to still drive up to Dallas next weekend for the SMU game though.

Every school goes through it... ask an Alabama Fan about Mike Shula... or a Miami fan about Randy Shannon... or a USC fan about Lane Kiffin... and those are fairly recent issues... every college football fan understands a rebuilding period.

I'm first and foremost a Bull, but I also attended and follow UF. I'm also a Bucs fan, but I live in Tallahassee.

Which means: I don't talk much about sports with friends. Sad but true. My participation in this board is about it for me.

I talk USF to anyone and everyone - even during the bad times. I was wearing my USF ski-cap last night with "UCF SUCKS" on it and had a pretty good conversation with a former Oregon State GA. Never miss the opportunity to spread the word about our Bulls.
