Should Flowers start rest of year

Is it time to totally turn team over to Flowers next 3 games and see what he's got similar to what happened with White last year. We have a pretty good understanding of what White/Bench bring to table at this point.

Sure.  If we tank the rest of our games we get a better draft pick this year.  

 

The good news for Taggart is that if the USF gig doesn't work out, the 76ers would pay him big bucks to help implement their plan.

I'd have no issue with it. Since his red shirt is already burned (that's my understanding) why not? At least going into next year we would have a small idea of what we have in him at the position. We already know what we have in White and Bench.

I feel like that would be akin to doing exactly what we did to white.

I'd also have no problem with that. At least we would know what flowers can do and if need be we could always move him to WR/RB next year. It's extremely unlikely we are going bowling this year so might as well get ready for next season where willies job will be on the line

Can you perform better under pressure (better than white)?

Depends how he and the team do against SMU.  Technically, we are still in the hunt for a bowl.  If he gives us the best shot at winning yes, start him at SMU.  If we win, but he sucks then you have to keep the bowl game as your first priority and keep the QB that gives us the best shot of winning the rest of the games.  

 

As soon as we are out of the running for a bowl game and if Taggart is truly convinced he is the QB for next year then yes, by all means get him that game experience.  Same goes with the rest of the players.  Once we are out of bowl contention then get the young guys the game experience so we don't start all over again next year.  

 

The guys that give us the best shot at a bowl this year are the guys to go with.  Once the bowl is off the table it is all about next year and beyond.

Yes, and run the Triple Option. Games will go by much faster this way.
