Hey they sold over 240 already, can't blame 'em if they have empty seats. Getting people in at half price is better than having them not come for $0

Big Bengals stadium to fill and their program is not setting the world on fire right now.

A football game is like a hotel room or an airplane. Once it's over, it's over and it can never be sold again.

 

Selling last minute seats/rooms/bleachers for low dollars can be a significant boost in marginal revenue for almost no additional marginal cost
