Former USF defensive end George Selvie and defensive tackle Terrell McClain both stepped up in Dallas’ 31-21 win over New York while Jason Pierre-Paul and Jacquian Williams shined on defense for the Giants. Selvie started on the left side and posted three tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass breakup. McClain added three total tackles and two tackles for loss as Dallas improved to 6-1 this season. Pierre-Paul had the best game of his season with six tackles, two sacks and three tackles for loss. Williams continued his solid season by tying for the team lead with seven total tackles and six solo stops. Tells you that USF never really had a great offense in our history if you think about it. We had the spread going for us during the Leavitt years which brought some excitement. Guys who should get a look next year in camp in my book are Watson, Chandler, Cliett, Davis and wouldn't be surprised if McFarland did as well.
