For our presnap shifting? Is it even worth it? I mean, i cant tell if our successful plays are the result of the presnap shifts.

It seems more deteimental seeing how some of the guys look confused which results in an illegal shift penalty. Why not just line up where you are suppose to be?

Shifting isn't so much about trickery. You are trying to get a read on the type of defensive scheme they are running.

As I watch another ECU 20 yard TD run that would have counted in two-hand touch I think most of our opponents would say it isn't worth the bother against us!

It just seems like there's no benefits to them...at least from a fan's perspective.

A few have worked this season and it's been great when it has. That's been about 3 times.

As USF Grouper said, shifting isn't about trying to trick a defense. By shifting you can tell if a defense is in a zone or man defense and also it is supposed to help get the offense in to advantageous match ups. Not sure any match up gives us an advantage against any.

What everyone else said. It can reveal clues about the defense. If you are completely stupid and can't get set you get a penalty. I don't see a problem with shifting.

When you're losing, everything's a problem if you want it to be ...

White has to make sure everyone is set before the ball is snapped. He got his butt chewed by CWT on the sidelines for this. Hopefully he learns it.

Hold on a second...I remember this play clearly and White called for the snap with 1 second on the play clock. His eyes had to be on the click at that point (and the ball). No way that's on him.
