I've been to MCG for an Aussie Rules match (Pies v. Roos) and it is one of the premier sporting venues on the planet As for Bon Jovi, I'm in favor. Beats the hell out of Sweet Caroline. Don't y'all remember getting shut out on national TV at Rutgers on a Thursday night in 2009? I think it was 40 something to 0, and the game was such a blowout that the TV crew was featuring a fat kid in the stands who was famous for his Bon Jovi lip synch routine. Kid was on the jumbotron. Crowd was singing living on a prayer with him. As far as I'm concerned, we need to let Rutgers keep that one.

It's also famous as a cricket venue...a cricket match at the MCG is on my bucket list. Now if only the world cup wasn't during tax season next year...
