White needs to work on the teams designed rollout plays. Installing more of the offense. Going through the NCAA rule book wouldn't hurt.

Route running and getting open. These receivers (with the exception of Welch) have good hands. If they would get open then White would not have to throw away so many balls.

Put all three QBs through regular accuracy drills. White is improving, but I'd still like to see him get more work in.

Secondary-the secondary needs to do a ton of work the next two weeks and really improve. I am not a guy who knows secondary, but it goes without saying that they need to get much better. Color me surprised that Cooper hasn't done as good a job as he usually does.

Getting lipo on Monday, so planning on doing nothing

Doing yard work and lipo are not bye week options for a HC.  :)

Making sure the ST coach, and all ST players, understand what they can and can't do as far as "leaping" ....

We seem to be getting better, maybe inconsistently, but there are certainly areas CWT is going to be focused on.

You're the HC, what do you work on?  Where do you think we'll see improvement?

The offensive play calling.

White doesn't appear to be a roll-out type of guy (slow, inaccurate on the move), I think the shot-gun would be much more effective for him.

A retrospective on the offense.

What worked well, what didn't? What should we continue to do? What should we do differently?

What worked? Mack when we're blocking well. White when we're blocking well and now that he seems to be settling down. Passing to the backs, especially Swanson, though defenses will now plan for this.

What didn't work? OL blocking ability, run and pass. White is having some trouble finding his receivers even when he has time, holding onto the ball for 4+ seconds, though he is getting better as he seems to be calming down. Identify the specific plays that haven't produced and lower their priority.

What should we continue to do? Identify the specific plays and scenarios that have produced and prioritize them, these plays should be the staple until the OL has new players that can consistently open lanes for Mack. Continue shifting the pocket and giving White quick-throw options. Continue the sweeps and getting Mack to the outside.

What should we do differently? If we are shifting slightly more to throw oriented to open the run (saw this over last couple games), consider adding another quick throw target to the bread and butter plays to help White have a quick throw that he feels comfortable with. Work with White on getting the ball out within 2 seconds on all of his short options so he feels comfortable making those really quick throws that defenses are going to force him to make. What can we realistically work with in a two-week period?

Teach White a pump fake

Drills to help White get more comfortable with pressure.

More plays installed to get the ball into the play makers hands quickly and in space. The plays where we used our athleticism on the outside are where we have been most effective. Also takes pressure off the OL to be perfect.

More plays to get Bronson and maybe McCants on the field.

1000 balls a day on the ball machine for Welch.

I think the OC should get lipo and work on his yard.
