ECU is busy this week, they aren't thinking about us yet

We need to use this time to prepare

Hopefully they consider us more of a threat than their competition this week..

If we can contain their passing offense and force them to run we have a chance but we can't let them throw for 350+ yards

Their pass defense hasn't looked that spectacular in this first half against SMU. I think if our defense gets some pressure on their QB and if our offense can get something going in the air and keep the time of possession close to even if not possibly slightly in our favor, I think this could be a good game for us. Of course, it all depends on which USF team shows up for this game.

BUT, playing SMU isn't looking like the sure thing that many on here thinks it will be.  They don't look any worse than us - at least this week (only time I've watched them this year).

As of now I am not convinced we have any "gimme games" .... SMU not looking like the poor saps we thought they were but ECU not looking like the brutes we thought either..

I still think this conference is wide open. If we continue to show improvement, the second half of our season could get exciting!
