We enjoy spending quality time alone together. And it's getting lonelier every time we go. If you ignore what's happening on the field, it's a nice night out. Really. Our normal 8 plus 3 of the 4 extra tickets I chose for this game. Left after the band played at halftime last week. Had NC State friends with us and hated pulling them away from a game that they were enjoying (from the Club area since it was beastly hot on the Himes Ave side). But I just couldn't watch any more. Am I hopeful v UConn? Not really. This coaching staff hasn't impressed me. Last week looked like McNeese St. all over again. A full year of coaching, better players supposedly and not one iota of improvement. But will be at every home game plus 3 away games.

I am definitely not happy with how we played on Saturday and I was extremely pissed off after the game. Once I had time to cool off, I'm still upset with the performance but I am trying my best to continue to be patient. I think we can and will win this game Friday. UConn is the only conference game we have won in BOTH of the last two horrific seasons and they certainly don't look as if they have improved any. That puts us back at 2-2 and still on track to somehow show some improvement this season. Our O-line has got to improve drastically though, but I will still be there no matter what to support my Bulls. Same here. It's kind of like, once you actually spend the money on season tickets, it's difficult to just not go because of the performance. Granted, the games themselves have had a spillover effect (e.g. no tailgating, in seconds before kickoff and on the road home immediately following). Plus, when we talk about progress, it is within conference play where it is most needed. That P5 line of demarcation has been established and we'd be well served to focus on doing what we can where it does the most good: AAC wins. I shudder to think of the attendance. These are trying times my friends. Just think...not too long ago UConn was going to the Fiesta Bowl and we were ranked at some point every season...now it's a rock throwing contest Edited September 15, 2014 by Hem
