FCS, FBS, 2013, 2014...there has been one constant through all our games and opponents the past two years, we are awful at the simple act of calling a play. I'm not talking about running a play or poor execution. Actually making the decision and relaying it to the players is a **** show.

Disagree completely.

Again, the play calling was not the problem in either game this year so far.  We have yet to consistently execute on offense.  It really is as simple as that.

I'm not saying the plays were the problem. I literally mean CALLING plays is a problem for us.

You're saying the communication between coach and player?

Are the words from coach getting jumbled up and the offense is running plays differently than coaches intend?

If that's not what you mean, I'm not sure I'm following you ...

I was surprised at how terrible the special teams were yesterday

Yeah usually they are not bad.   I think they had a different long snapper in the game and that was reason for

miscues.

I mean the number of times I'm yelling "snap the ******* ball" at the screen.

You're not watching 2013 replays are you? I didn't yell that at the screen once yesterday.

Yeah, I'm not getting that either. There may have been a few but I was pleasantly surprised when I kept checking the play clock when they broke huddle compared to last year

Cost us the game. Fumbled FG attempt. Missed FG. Mishandled snap. Made it a 13 point swing. That can be corrected. Defense played well. Offense was decent. Overall improvement, and a lot of potential.

Offense didn't score in the 2nd half.  That ain't decent in my view.

Got to give credit to Maryland's defense as they only gave up 7 points to JMU last week.
