Bench earned some goodwill from USF fans this week

What you see is what you get with these two.  They were even all camp and this just shows that one isn't really any better than the other.

Bench played well considering the circumstances. He didn't get rep time with the starters this week(worked with the backups). He came in the game after the first play from scrimmage.  The receivers dropped too many balls esp early when he came in.  He was able to use his mobility(legs to score a td).  The running game was shut down for the most part) (MD stuffed the box , basically daring us to beat them thru the air). 

 

Bench will be fine this coming week once he practices with the 1's and not the 2's.  

 

Don't burn Flowers Redshirt( this is year 2 of the rebuilding process).

Since his abyssmal 1st half against WCU, White is 5/8 for 113 yds. Acting like he played horrible that whole game is just plain misleading ... Having said that, our only td today on offense came from what Bench gives you that I don't think White does. I'm good with either in there but won't matter if wr's don't catch ALL the easily catchable balls that go their way.

He didn't play horribly the entire game.  He did hand off extremely cleanly and effficiently to Mack.
