Anybody think we should look into an OCS?

Nah.  Let's take a vote on the best grocery stores out there.  I vote Publix.

Greenwise in South Tampa is the real deal. You need to hit it up when you're in town next time.

Organic foods - such a waste of $ with little to no known health benefit.

Total misconception. Maybe 5% of the place is organic. But its butcher shop is 100% amazing.

5% organic is probably being a bit stingy in the description for Greenwise - it's about natural food and "green" products - but can you literally taste a difference in the meat there as opposed to a general Publix Super Market?

If you do, you probably are in the top percentile of people with "sophisticated palates," and therefore I cannot relate to you.

BTW, I had a medianoche sandwich for lunch today from a local Cuban restaurant.

Out. Of. This. World.  The pork in the sandwich melted in my mouth and was definitely straight from a slow-cooker, not some sliced cold cut.  They did it right.  I love Cuban bread like on Cuban sandwiches, but the sweeter bread was a great changeup.

On the subject of grocery stores. In Winston Salem we have a chain called Lowes foods and no they are not associated with the hardware store. All the amenities of Publix and the ultimate guy amenity, The Beer Den. six lucious taps of craft beer that changes weekly. Taste all you like and then fill a Growler up to go home. :icon_drink:

I can buy buffalo there for making buffalo chili. Should I go on?

Don't know how long you've been in ATL, GA, but True's Greenwise definitely sounds like the ol' Harrys in ATL. Hated to see them go, always had the most incredible, freshest meats imaginable. Loved me some Harrys like I love me some Cuban food. Good call, but where in the heck did you get that in ATL? I only know of a couple of good Cuban places there.

Nah.  You lost me at buffalo chili.  I'd much rather have a buffalo burger at Ted's Montana Grill.
