3 commits this far in advance is pretty much unprecedented for us, isn't it?

commitments from juniors had not been common for us. From memory brion Carnes and jarred fayson. May be a couple others. Not 3 in one class though.

Part of that is CWT and part is the change in recruiting to ever earlier commitments.

I get that sentiment, Pyotr, but as Sanjay has pointed out above, it's incredibly telling that we're getting this many kids in a class this early in their high school years. Even if they don't wind up sticking, I think this evidence of a culture shift around USF football. Stuff like this makes me realistically optimistic about Coach Taggart.

Can't blame him, his buddy de-committed, and right now...what does USF have to offer? Playing time...but that's about it. 

 

CWT's job is in danger, why commit now when he may very well be fired at the end of the year? I don't expect to see many commitments this year until we near the end of our schedule.
