USF on CBS Sports Network For Eight Games

According the AAC BBS site looks like the following USF games will be on CBS Sports Network.

9/6 - Maryland at USF

9/13 - N.C. State at USF

East Carolina at USF

USF at Tulsa

Houston at USF

USF at SMU

USF at Memphis

UCF at USF

The first two games are for sure on CBS Sports Network but the other 6 could potentially be on that network. I don't think we are guaranteed to have these 8 games on that network.

 

There would have been a release from Athletics confirming that all 8 are scheduled for that network.

Exactly. Some of the games done by that one female play by play announcer were almost as tough to watch because of her voice as the poor play of USF.  Not hating on female announcers in general, just

So this means the only game that is NOT going to be televised will be our first game... that seems better than the past few seasons when we would have two or three games only on ESPN3.

vs WCU - ESPN3

vs MD - CBSSN

vs NC St - CBSSN

vs UConn - ESPN/ESPN2

@ Wisconsin - ESPN/ESPN2/ABC or BigTen (every Big Ten home game is televised)

vs ECU - CBSSN

@ Tulsa - CBSSN

@ Cincy - ESPN/ESPN2

vs Houston - CBSSN

@ SMU - CBSSN

@ Memphis - CBSSN

vs UCF - CBSSM

This chart shows that CBSSN has ~ half the subs of ESPN/ESPN2 and ~25 million less than NBC Sports Network due to it being on a higher tier of programming. So on one hand, more games on tv, but half the previous potential audience, about 50 million less households subscribe to it than the two ESPN channels.

That's true. I was just thinking on the grand scale of trying to get some respect from Joe Blow football fan. Exposure and all that stuff.

Don't be surprised if we go on a tear of wins and we are switched up and seeing more air time..happens every year with the hot teams.

What's very disappointing about this is that the majority of apartments around campus do not carry CBSSN, i believe.
