That's like all those years I had Dish and ESPN U wasn't in HD, even after it became available.

Exactly. Some of the games done by that one female play by play announcer were almost as tough to watch because of her voice as the poor play of USF.  Not hating on female announcers in general, just

What's very disappointing about this is that the majority of apartments around campus do not carry CBSSN, i believe. 

For the students?? They should be AT the games!!!!!!!!!

 

 

sorry, not many students are gonna head to memphis, tulsa or smu...

Not sure about that because ESPN3 is older and offers the ESPN College Game Plan in HD, which is like $120/season from TV providers, for FREE  and in the past only in SD on the TV providers. I'd bet more have access than the 53 million of CBS Sports Network, many of the nations largest ISPs carry it like Comcast. Plus the XBox app for it is awesome and close to 100 million of those have sold.

Right now we have more games scheduled on the ESPN family than on CBSSN and that may well be the case after everything is said and done ....

For those that need to upgrade your package. On Dish its on the America;s 200 and on Comcast  its on their 190 plan, try and get a discount. I am not under contract with Dish and I called and after about 15 minutes got America's 250 for on $5 more a month. It's normally $20 more a month from the package I have and they gave me that discount for 10 months, so I  just saved $150.  These tv providers don't want to lose you and mention their competitors. Even if you already get it, if you are out of contract, call and you might save some money. GOOD LUCK and GO BULLS!

Any truth to the rumour that Dish is about to offer a web- and sling-only version, with no local satellite dish/ receiver?

That is the rumor, people are hoping for a more ala cart type offering. Supposed to happen end of summer.
