Yeah, but the Rangers are owned by George Bush. Surprised it's not printed upside down instead of just a typo, LOL :D

He cashed out 20 years ago. I think Dan Quayle does the proofreads now.

I'm not sure how old everyone on this board is, but my guess its average is "45"(?). I see your point, but you have to keep in mind that the way "kids" write things on twitter, and FB for that matter, is usually shorthand slang. That doesn't mean they can't read or write above a 3rd grade level lol its just that for purposes of social media that is the "accepted" norm.

I'm fairly certain he doesn't do that, or any "kid" for that matter, on anything that has to be turned in for a grade.

As an anecdote, I have a friend that graduated cum laude from UM, did follow up Masters at USF and is an a professional field of work and if you saw his social media profile you might think the same of him and he is 24.

On the flip side, KCanty was a non qualifier and that's why he went to MU in the first place. He gives the appearance of a very intelligent young man and makes a good impression on twitter. https://twitter.com/KCANTY1

You're not alone, Jupiter, bothers me too so I just don't read tweets unless someone posts a clip or two on the board. Then I go :sigh: and convince myself a lot of it is on purpose to avoid flak for appearing smart...  It's my dream, leave it alone... :GoBulls:

I'll adopt that defense mecanism, too...good call.

As to the earlier comment, 40 something is right for me.  I have 2 kids early in college.  Both have Tumblr accounts, so I get that punctuation is a foe sometimes, and that shorthand, etc. are common.

Guess I'll just have to take it with a grain of salt, and hope they are smart enough to keep our APR up, and contribute to the team.

Why one should never rail on typos and punctuation.

What are you talking about?  The actual social media network is called Tumblr, without the "e."

:D

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
