Pretty sure Josh was on schollie ,,,

He was. That's why we have 2 available at the moment, his and Leday's.

Musa and Hawkins now too

Wow talk about a roster overhaul. Now COA can get some of his own players in to go with whatever system he wants to run.

Hopefully he saves some of these scholarships for the 2015 class which is more important than anything he can get this late out of the 2014 class. I'm find with having a short bench this upcoming season. It has been said that USF will only sign 2 players this late. That might increase a bit, but Coach O will want to save some to load up on the 2015 class.

Should be hearing some news on this guy soon, maybe in a day or two. I know Kevin Sampson is hard after him as well so it will be a good late pickup for USF if they can land him. Gotta feel pretty good about it right now.

With Egbunu gone, I'd think that USF just got a LOT more appealing for a big man.

He supposedly visited Houston and George Mason, after his USF visit, so we should learn of his decision any day. He has a few friends on the USF women's basketball team, so that may help in landing him. :)

Ruben Guerrero restricts their choice to USF, George Mason and Houston

The Marbella decided to pack up for last season to come to USA along with his younger brother after reaching an agreement with his club Unicaja Malaga. Their destination, a Prep School on the outskirts of Wichita, Kansas, the Sunrise Christian Academy , an institution where one season before Sebas Saiz building its future in NCAA and why not say, in our basketball since his year across the Atlantic did nothing but turn a working guy, a man with an undeniable future our selection as demonstrated during the summer playing with the U20 and U19.

Ruben wants to do the same, and has become one of the most desired in the American college basketball thanks to his good season in Sunrise Christian Academy, a Prep School leaving plenty of players with scholarships to play in the NCAA candy.

Only this campaign has "placed" 7 of its members:

  • Rauno Nurger (Estonia/2,08m/Ala-Pivot)) con Ole Miss Rauno Nurger (Estonia / 2.08 m / Ala-Pivot)) with Ole Miss
  • Lourawls Nairn (Bahamas/1,78m/Base) con Michigan State Lourawls Nairn (Bahamas / 1.78 m / Base) with Michigan State
  • Marvin Clark (USA/2,01m/Alero) con Michigan State Marvin Clark (USA / 2.01 m / Alero) with Michigan State
  • Dusan Ristic (Serbia/2,13m/Ala-Pivot) con Arizona Wildcats Dusan Ristic (Serbia / 2.13 m / Ala-Pivot) Arizona Wildcats
  • Vasilije Pusica (Serbia/1,93m/Escolta) con San Diego Toreros Vasilije Pusica (Serbia / 1.93 m / Escort) with San Diego Toreros

Meanwhile, Ruben is at the stage of official visits to the universities that are more interested in it. : USF, George Mason y Houston . The list was long, but the Andalusian has hedged its possibilities only 3 colleges: USF, George Mason and Houston.  But it seems more convincing to Spanish is:

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA (Tampa, FL) UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA (Tampa, FL)

usf_logo.jpg?itok=SafKFkPf
Is the most weight gaining and seems to be the most convincing in principle to Spanish for several reasons: first the situation and climate where the university is located is suitable for, and second, the next season will debut as head coach the until now assistant coach John Calipari at Kentucky Wildcats, Orlando Antigua, a Dominican who knows Ruben Guerrero to detail and a part of bringing closely following all your steps and progress, has always declared an unconditional fan of Spanish and always he wanted to recruit him.

Precisely at the moment is making the visit in Tampa, and although it has scheduled two official visits more and you can not make your decision before making these, it seems that the player ends up being college buddy of his compatriots and players of the team Female basketball Laura Marcos, Ari and Laia Pujol flowers also come this season

If finally confirmed the commitment to USF, Ruben competition for minutes would gain 2 players:

  • John Egbunu (Nigeria/2,08m/Pivot/So) John Egbunu (Nigeria / 2.08 m / Pivot / So)
  • Chris Perry (USA/2,03m/Ala-Pivot/So) Chris Perry (USA / 2.03 m / Power Pivot / So)

The other two colleges will be visited and post them after the Spanish could visit two more for a total of 5 official visits, but a source confirms that it seems that Ruben will not make any more business, and also the Bulls are the are better able to gain the services of the Andalusian pivot.

We look forward to the official confirmation of its decision.

That's what I thought, too.

People here who are able to read it in Spanish, may want to add something.
