football as a business DOES drive expansion

performance on the field has a lot less to do with it.... but... its still a factor

Dollars drive expansion --> B12 aside, Markets drive Dollars --> TV ratings drive markets --> football drives TV ratings

The only way for USF to increase it's TV market share is to win.  It's not going to happen overnight, but it's never going to happen going 5-7, 3-8, 2-10.

USF has to play the hand it was dealt.  Fortunately we're in a pretty good market.  Unfortunately the B12 doesn't seem to care.  USF needs to do it's best to gain market share and that means winning.  It may not make a difference, but that's the all we can do to improve our position.

Haha, I like this comment:

So when is the b1g going to focus on what they really need, overall quality football? Instead, they open a boutique.
