I'm finding it really funny that every UK fan is sad to see him go and thinks it's a fantastic hire. I've seen many that were concerned that he wouldn't finish out the tourney with the team.

 

Meanwhile every Memphis fan hates him and thinks we made a bad hire. Then they go on to say Calapri tried to "dump" Antigua on them as he was leaving.

 

 

Are there still sour grapes there from Calapari bolting to UK? Sure seems that way.

UK doesn't have to play against him.

Memphis is afraid of what he brings, or will bring, next season.

Memphis still hasn't gotten over Coach Cal leaving for the Bluegrass and BDYZR is correct they are afraid of what Coach O could get going at USF.  With L'Ville leaving for the ACC, USF has a legit shot to become a top tier team in the AAC.

Well it couldn't get much worse.  We came in last place in a conference where there was a clear split (5 teams good, 5 teams bad) in the quality of teams.   Antigua could come in next year, lead us to a  16-16 season and it would be a successful first year where we come in 7th place and it would be a relatively successful year.
