Why is he not hired yet?

Not enough demanding tweets for Harlan to get off his butt?

Yeah, what is that guy doing?  I mean, he hasn't even finished up his first full day on the job and he hasn't signed our coach yet.

Patience people.  If they are trying to get Massiello, maybe they are in the process of working the terms of the deal out. Who knows what is going on!

One question: Is it mandatory for the school to interview minorities or is that only in the NFL?

Since when is NY Italian not a minority in West Central Florida?

I agree. I am going to be let down if he is not the guy.

Seth left during C-USA right?

Is he saying AAC wouldn't stack up?

Maybe not with L'ville gone. Would have to look. But, I think he's wrong there.

Would be a pretty good debate ... Top programs in old CUSA: Marquette, Louisville, Memphis, Cincy ... The American: Memphis, UConn, Cincy ... then assess the rest of each conference.

Id say the top of the AAC next season will be:

Cincy - NCAA

SMU - NCAA

UConn - NCAA

Memphis - NCAA

Tulsa - NCAA/NIT

Houston - NIT/CBI

After that, its a log-jam

Don't sell USF short. We will be in that Tulsa/Houston range as long as the new coach keeps everyone on board. If you do, you aren't paying attention. Collins back, the Freshmen getting bigger, stronger and becoming smarter players.

When you have a coach, and the recruits say that...OK...but you don't and they haven't.

I will say Masiello is a FAR better choice than someone like Andy Kennedy or Pel.

Wasn't really looking at it on a year to year basis, where that could have big swings on an annual basis, but rather your higher profile, winning programs ... Probably should have added Temple to the AAC list so you'd have 4 of those type programs in each conference .... again, it's pretty debatable.

You must not know about the guy at SMU with an NBA title, NCAA title, top recruit in the nation, and a renovated 40 million dollar arena they pack out...

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
