I remember that thing... They used to carry all the bags of empty beer cans down in the 'vator.  We sometimes had to pull the door to get it to close.  Oh, the memories...

One thing to feel good about as a Bull:

1.  You don't have to spend a bunch of money traveling to post season bowls or tournaments.

2.  If you want to be an empty-nester, no worries, your children would rather go to schools with a winning aura that are located quite a distance from Tampa.

3.  You don't have to worry about client, friends or relatives fighting over your extra tickets to FB or MBB.

4.  You don't get asked repeatedly how good USF is going to be in the coming year, they seem to kind of know and aren't keen on rubbing your nose in it.

5.  You spend a whole lot less on pregame and postgame tailgating and celebratory activities.

Man, there is so much to feel good about right now................snark!!

I got there in 1996, lived in Beta from 1996 to 1998. I lived on the ground floor (004) aka "The Lake"

Every time it rained, the ground floor would end up having about 2 inches of standing water. Nothing like some mold for your allergies eh?

Summer of 1996 I lived in the Village for my first semester, then moved into Beta.

I was taking a friend's son on a tour of USF, I can't believe they filled in the pool that was behind Beta. That pool is gone, it's just flat grass now

I'd tell ya though, I'd trade all 4 years of high school, for 10 more minutes in Beta. I loved it there, had a blast

Was that the place with all the mold? I lived in an apartment complex that was built just south of Fletcher to the east side of the campus. It had a huge mold problem. I had to threaten to sue them in order to get out of my lease, since I left early due to the mold and my bad allergies.
