Bill McGillis was the one that handled most of the day-to-day. I'm not sure who's been the "hands-on" administrator since McGillis left for Southern Miss, but my money is on someone other than Doug.

Ah, I think you're right. News articles have some form of this same status:

Back on topic, as soon a the search firm forwards names to USF you'll hear about them because of the Freedom of Information Act.

FOIA doesn't mandate disclosure until someone actually files a request, right?

@TBTimes_Bulls: Beaudine said sitting ADs, those with experience at large universities and "out-of-the-box" candidates will get good looks from his firm

@MikeManganello: USF expects 20-30 qualified applicants. Search firm will narrow down to 3-5 and approach committee with candidates for USF AD.

@MikeManganello: Search firm representative mentioned that candidates outside college athletics will be considered and have been successful hirings lately.
