Asante Samuel, DB (UCF) cut as well. Frees up 6M in Cap Room. Both had been beaten out by rookies last year for starting spots.

They went younger and cheap. He racked up a ton of tackles when started against SF in Week 16. He's gonna catch on somewhere

Bucs are pretty good on LB but I wouldn't mind them adding him for depth.

Talented football player.  Sad to say that at 30 he is an old man in football years (for a LB).  I hope he saved his money and that he can utilize his USF degree.  Could be a good LB assistant coach here or elsewhere.
