Last night when we left the Dome after the BB game they had people at the doors handing out cards for us to complete a survey on line. I just completed the survey and thought it was interesting.

Several generic questions about USF and the game in general but that started asking more specific questions about shipping companies (Fed Ex, UPS,USPS)  Some of the questions were " would you support or look at UPS more favorably if UPS was a sponsor of USF"  Lots of questions on those lines.

Could USF be working on a deal with (UPS/FED EX, USPS) as a sponsor or for naming rights of one of our blds(Sun Dome)?

Could be nothing but trying to connect dots and see if anyone else took survey and what they thought about it and was theirs the same?  Could be nothing at all, (hoping for the sponsorship, USF can use it)

Survey was at  done at www.collegesportssurvey.com

After that game, I thought maybe athletics was handing out sympathy cards.

Interesting, I'll have to check it out.

Since UPS owns UL, what they were really asking was "would you have preferred a reach-around".

Could be or Athletic department is searching for a sponsor for when our teams just "mail it in" as they have been doing the last few years.

Here's a great local sponsor: http://www.cigarcitybrewing.com

YES! I may be partial because I love their beer, am part of their Catador Club, and work 2 mins from the brewery...but man CCB is a great local company (even though it's run by Redner's kid)

I wish we'd build an OCS and they would sponsor it

Cigar City Stadium in Tampa, FL (That just sounds awesome)

you know i thought the same thing a while back and looked it up, if i recall correctly they aren't related. but could be wrong. But i don't think Cigar City has the $$ to be a major sponsor.

As far as fedex, i think its that they are based out of memphis for logistical reasons but the city itself had "nothing" to do with its founding, but more so its growth.

cool to know the co-CEO is a USF grad
