What the Scout says...

Another RB has told me he's officially visiting #USF on Jan. 17. #UCLA commit Marlon Mack will be on campus as well:

And we only have offers our to 4 players on that whole list? Christmas, Galati, Mack, and Walters. Why don't the rest have offers, I wonder?

And where is the rest of the list?

And where is the rest of the list?

A few reasons.

1.  They aren't all seniors.

2.  A good high school player doesn't always equate to a good DI college player.

3.  They may not have the grades.

4.  They may have off the field issues.

5.  They may not be the least bit interested in going to college, or playing football in college.

6.  We've already seen that they must "fit the system", especially in Taggart's case.

7.  They may not be even the tiniest bit interested in USF.

Looks like the honeymoon in CA is over. Eminem is coming this w/e. UCLA was the only other OV scheduled. Woodie is on the case. Eight Ball says "Things are looking up".

hudl.com/athlete/915069… there are not 5 better football players in America than this young man. It's been great to work with u @Marlon_Mack2

CoachPolamalu is that true what Marlon mack is saying about no desire to play at Ucla?

The drama is coming from this article "http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/bbrown-vic-enwere-commits-cal-coaches-identify-new-possible-target". One which he retweeted on his twitter account this weekend.

Written by: Brandon Brown

"Not surprising to anyone 2014 RB Vic Enwere reaffirmed his commitment to Cal tonight via Twitter and it appears the Michigan coaches already knew it was coming.

Well before Enwere announced anything publicly, earlier today Coach Singletary and Coach Nussmeier reached out to RB Marlon Mack who is currently committed to UCLA. The offer from the Bruins is by far his biggest on paper as most of his other offers are from less than powerhouse programs.

Position: Running Back
Ht/Wt: 6'0" / 190 lbs.
Location: Booker High School (2014) – Sarasota, FL
Offers: Ball State, Florida Atlatntic, Florida Intl, Indiana, Iowa State, Marshall, Middle Tenn St, Northern Illinois, Ohio, South Florida, UCLA
Ranking: ★★★ .8365 (247 Composite)
FILM

Coach Singletary and Coach Nuss reached out to Mack today and expressed how impressed they were by his film. He told me that the coaches asked him a lot of questions to see how interested he might be in Michigan and tried to make sure he understood that they had taken notice of his skills.

Mack was very open with me about how he basically committed to UCLA simply to see what other schools might then become interested. He told me that he likes UCLA, but he doesn't love them. That to me sounds like a kid fishing for a specific offer, although he tells me that there isn't necessarily one particular offer he covets.

This might come off as a little dishonest but he told me that he truly feels like he's been overlooked and thought committing would be a good way to get noticed. He did say he felt shocked that Michigan has now taken notice. The coaches didn't mention anything to him about an offer yet but obviously they would like to add a running back to the 2014 class and Mack appears to be a backup plan if things go south with Jeff Jones."

BigBlue coaches gonna make a visit to Eminem the week.

UM better hope MM doesn't read this article as a betrayal of confidence, given the content...or see that Michigan wants him IF something better doesn't pan out.

I'm sure the UCLA guys love reading this, and MM should realize he maybe shouldn't be talking to that Michigan rag.
