For some reason I have it in my head that it was around April, in the past, when this went out. I seem to recall grousing about having to pay taxes AND pay for tickets. They are aware and nervous on how many people will renew. The die-hards will renew early. So they want to maximize the time they can try to persuade those on the fence... even those saying no... to change their mind. They're going to need all the time they can get. Like was mentioned already, I like the option of spreading the payments out instead of doing one lump sum all at once. Me and my wife will be upgrading our season tickets this time.
