My personal observations (in FBS):

1.) The previous conference realignment:

- West Virginia (and TCU) have struggled to make a name for themselves in the Big 12!

- Syracuse and Pittsburgh are scraps in the ACC...

2.) The Big East left overs:

- USF bringing in wins over Cincinnati and UCONN

- UCONN is in a worse situation than we are

- Temple is somewhat comfortable in their circumstance

3.) CUSA schools unanimously beating USF:

- Rutgers and Louisville being worked over by UCF...

- CUSA teams demonstrated that they can stand up against the old Big East teams (Louisville being the outlier)

- Rutgers being the least deserving of conference realignment....

- I am reluctant to see the outcome of UCF vs USF.

4.) The AAC does not deserve to be a BCS AQ.

I may seem harsh in my critique, but I am just frustrated. I am only anticipating headlines from my facebook friends after the Thanksgiving holiday. I hope for the best, but I am expecting the worst. I can only look forward to next season!

Rutgers is an AAU school, tier 1 university and has part of the NYC and NJ TV market.

Will they be able to compete in the B1G in Football and Basketball next season?

Define "part." :D I think the B1G is banking on Rutgers' future midwest competition bringing more eyeballs to Rutgers football, but that's a big gamble in my opinion.

To bad, if we were able to keep old big east and add Houston and ucf it would have been a pretty decent conference.

I think that Memphis would not have been invited if it wasn't for the BB team.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
