Why does EVERY SINGLE THREAD have to turn into a pissing contest?

I bet I can piss farther than you can.

that is exactly what it means.

so a receiver doesn't give 100% on every single play in every single game then he's not commited?

You cannot tell if a wr is giving effort on every play if he keeps getting uncatchable balls.

Actually it's quite easy to tell if a WO is going hard on every play. How crisp are his cuts, how is his down field blocking, how quick does he get off of the line. Not making any comment on anyone in particular. Unless someone has access to "coaching" game tapes, they can't see every player on every play.

True. With that said the coaches have access to the coaching tape and Davis is split out wide to start every game. From my vantage point he is also one of our best down field blockers from the wr position.

He will always be on the field as long as he's at USF. His 80% is still better than every other WR's 100%.

Yeah, this is about right but White threw the ball around to a lot more targets at Houston. Dre is the prime, but with White he won't be the only go-to guy. McFarland looked great, Welch looked better, and heck, Dunkley was catching him too! Much better O when you can spread the love.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
