Note, this was posted 15 minutes before kick-off. We are a notoriously late arriving crowd to their seats. Louisville had a good showing, as usual, but the outnumbering didn't last long ...

Look at the Miami game today. They can't fill their stadium 

yep - it usually helps to be a ranked team. Miami has terrible fan support.

 

 

 

UL travels well-- they are a highly ranked team -- they are having a great season save last minute loss to the Knights - AND have a guy who is a Heisman hopeful

 

so why is it shocking - or my most hated term "embarassing" --  that USF-- a team that is coming off two losing seasons in a row-- hasn't been ranked in years -- has no real amazing player to come see (Heisman type)- had some really lousy losses to start the season-- isn't having a huge tournout for the games this season?

My problem is that it was homecoming. These homecoming games usually draw a lot better in past years including that previous few seasons. Top top it off the opponent was ranked. Right now, not many care about USF. That is just the way it is. No other way to say. Only about 20K of us care.

True. We just have to keep enjoying watching USF develop game by game. As long as I am there, I will be happy weather there are 15K or 50K fans. All we can control is what we do. Win big and they will come. Kind of like all the space that we have now. Seems like we have a core of 20K fans that will be there no matter how bad we get. We can build from there.
