Going to Vegas? Hotel Deal that works while USF BB is in Vegas

When your room scares away the hookers you know you have gone too cheap on accommodations.

A few years ago, expedia made a mistake and put a $300 off vacation packages to Vegas coupon out there that was missing a key term, "Offer valid on packages of $1500 or more."

 

I went to Vegas 4 times that December (all 1 to 2 night trips) ... because I could get a flight and a cheap hotel room packaged together for under $305, which when the coupon was applied was under $5. I was doing more for gaining the frequent flyer miles, but Vegas is always fun.

 

To make the numbers work, I had to stay in cheap rooms, here are the four hotels I stayed at: Hooters, Orleans, Golden Gate and Palace Station.

 

All were perfectly fine, and none were anywhere near as nice as Excalibur. I get that this deal isn't for everyone, but come on, saying things like bed bugs and hookers won't go there does nothing but make me not want to share the next deal that could help some Bulls fans out there.

Stay downtown. its cheap and fun. We stay at the fremont every year during the divisional weekend of the nfl playoffs. You can find us there in January, matter o' fact. There's a bar across the street in the 4 queens. Sit and eat like pigs and drink like....well... like we do every day. Its a blast, look forward to it every year.

last two trips out there( this year) stayed on the strip at Flamingo in one of their newly remodeled rooms was about 50 a night , nice pool and great location on the strip( center of the strip). Than stayed at The Orleans for a week ( its about a half a mile off the strip with lots of parking , nice rooms and pool, ( Was only 30 a night).  

 

Both rooms are comparable, Orleans would require NO Car since the games are at the hotel.
