There's not a QB in the Country that would be good with this o-line and recievers that won't fight for the ball.

BJ Daniels was pretty effin good...

I would much rather see White than Bench. Bench didnt show me much more than Evald or Floyd. To me, Bench playing decent against FAU isnt much more than Evald looking decent against NcNeese. I know the redshirt argument but this would be a pretty good time for white to step in. 2 weeks to watch film on an good opponent but defense isnt necessarily their strength. And honestly, what are the chances he stays all 5 years anyway if he does get the RS? With baseball always being a possibility and the possibility of him leaving early, I would much rather see what he has now than him just be a huge question mark next season. Its not like true freshman cant come in and make a statement or at least show potential. Not to mention it will further enforce the mindset that we will not accept losing to these schools and changes will be made. Just my two cents.

Manziel could beat McNeese with Plants OL

We need to keep the redshirt on with White, imo.  We need QB depth, as much as we can get at this point.  Roll with Bench, let this be a learning year for him, and hopefully we'll see some good things at some point this year.

Then, hopefully CWT can pull in some playmakers for him in February.

He may not have the Oline which is horrible this year but he(BJ) did have Skippy and company holding him back and limiting his strength( not allowing him to run, scramble).

It was an exaggeration, but I could list 15 QBs that would make this team at minimum 1-2. Edited by dabulls34

Yeah...this Oline blows, but the Oline that was taped together CJL's last year was probably just as bad. Mobility of our QBs made us not notice that flaw

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
