I believe Bortles was a 2 star coming out of HS. Its not that they were able to get that kind of talent, it is more of the fact they developed him. BJ was a talent but never got developed and that is proved by becoming a NFL QB. How did BJ not get developed? Where is he ranked on the total yards for a QB for the Big East? Top 3 isn't it? There are several NFL qbs on that Big East list behind BJ. No way he wasn't developed. They don't give NFL jobs to QBs that aren't, the NFL isn't a place to develop, its a place to hone.
