For whoever asked, yes, I believe student gov. is organizing a bus trip for the game.  I think it was a rediculous deal, like $10-$20 for a ride and a game ticket.  For the first time since the programs's start, FAU is finally working with the team and getting involved getting people to the games.  We had little to no school support prior to this.  I hope we travel good to this game, but I couldn't hazard a guess as to how well.  The student body seem pretty excited about the team, but we haven't had a home game yet so its hard to judge.

 

If we are ever going to beat you guys, this would be the year, although I still see this game easily going to either team.  I have a lot of USF alumni friends and family and have been going to bulls games for quite a few years now.  It was hard for me to watch the decline of the team and I know how it feels.  We are supposedly in our "rebuilding" phase as well after going 1-11 2 years ago.  I really have yet to see any improvement from last year to this year, but its still early.  This year will be tough for you guys, as well as possibly next year but hang in there.  There will be a lot of negativity, calls for firings, people jumping ship, but the real fans will stay.  Supporting your school is like an addiction sometimes, when it is bad and you know you should stop you just can't.  Good Luck..............starting next week of course.  In the meantime I'll be taking advantage of the stadium's miller lite offerings.

Spanish knights

The name 'The Conquistadors" must have been a problem in that most students could not spell Conquistador.  I imagine it would be somewhat polically incorrect in todays world.
