Also, the 1-AA we played last year is a scrub compared to McNeese.  McNeese plays way bigger than their 1-AA level.

Hope this changes in the 2nd half.  I don't fault Willie T for this, this is obviously a carry-over from 2012, but hope he can soon.  Holtz obviously f***** us over mentally more than we thought.

I gotta imagine that some of these players are gonna be benched/scholarships pulled by tomorrow night. It can't hit much lower than this

I wasn't making excuses, but wondering what you saw post-Holtz that led you to expect something else tonight?
Brad. Think about what you're saying. It was NEVER so bad under Holtz that we should legitimately be down 4 scores to a I-AA school. Sorry.

Difference - last 1-AA school we played, we had BJ Daniels. This year, Floyd and Eveld thus far.

Get the picture?

As bad as the QB play has been...the defense has been just as bad

I would love to know what Taggart was seeing from Floyd that made him start over Eveld. It is not even a close comparison in the energy level and play from Eveld vs what Floyd brought.

Maybe Floyd is just a good preseason/practice qb. Always performs in practice but can't transfer to game time.

Holtz did name his starting QB.  Holtz didn't setup this pathetic defense.  Don't get me wrong Holtz is not blameless - but that is why he got fired.  Willie and USF should be absolutely embarrassed.  We have let a 1-AA hang 50 on us!  At this point we need to seriously reconsider the investment we have in football and how those funds could better be spent.

When was the last time any team put 50 on us? Let alone a 1AA. This entire team looks like a mess right now. Really didn't expect this mess.

Why not? Special teams have been awful. Stu Holt shares plenty of the blame.
