Doc,

 

With the line at -20.5, I think you've got to believe you guys can cover the spread, and will be taking the points. 

 

But what do you think of your chances of beating us straight up?

Being realistic, our chances straight up are probably slim.   We would have to play a perfect game and you guys would have to make a lot of mistakes (fumbles, interceptions, penalties) for us to win.   Your depth is better than ours with better athletes in the backup positions.

 

Of course, I never thought we would beat Middle Tenn. last season.   I wish we could have avoided all the season ending injuries in the middle of the season and could have played all season with the same team that beat MTSU.  It could have been a very, very good season instead of a mediocre one.

 

I just hope we make a good showing.   But there is always hope    :)

Even though I'm hoping for triple digits, I seriously doubt we'll cover the spread.

 

Think I'd have to take the points were I betting on the game.

All good suggestions, I'd also add:

 

RB - #20 Marcus Shaw. Very good lateral movement, pretty good speed when he runs outside the tackles. He should get a lot of time.

 

LB - #16 Reshard Cliett. Has a lot of promise, great athlete, but was inconsistent last year. If he comes alive, watch out.

 

QB - oh wait, no.
