Besides Lynch, what players do the McNeese fans play particular interest in during the game? On offense or on defense (by position). Thanks, Doc

Lamar Robbins is the freshman to watch.

McNeese722 Posted August 27, 2013 Group: Member Topic Count: 1 Content Count: 52 Reputation: 1 Days Won: 0 Joined: 08/04/2013 Author Share Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) What bout the other way around, who we need to keep an eye on? We are just a little ole' FCS team. We don't have any players worth watching even for the FCS level. Just look at all the McNeese players on this list. CSJ FCS Preseason All-Americans Don't bother looking because there "ain't" none. McNeese fans have had a feud with this guy and I think he hates us. Seriously, watch these guys. WR's #4 Dontae Spencer a little speedster at WR (his clone #7 David Bush, transfer from TCU is decent). #17 Ernest Celestie, transfer from Texas Tech a couple of years ago. Good WR and they like to run end arounds with him. #19 6' 3" true freshman Kent Shelby has looked good in preseason workouts. He makes every pass that turns into a jump ball his. RB's #3 Marcus Wiltz, senior, ran all over Middle Tenn last season #29 Kelvin Bennett, speedster and hard to catch if he gets into the secondary. TE's #88 6' 5" 255lb transfer from LSU. Very hard to tackle with some decent speed. Transferred from LSU because LSU doesn't throw the ball to their TE's much. I think he was the 10th rated TE in the country the year LSU recruited him. Our OL is young and scares me against your DL. As far as defense, nothing outstanding. Our two DE's 99 and 94 are decent. Guy to watch in the secondary is no.11 WS Terrence Cahee, guaranteed to give out a few licks in the game. But, I'm sure whatever talent we think we have is everyday athletes for you guys. We definitely don't have the depth you guys do. I just hope we can make it a game for 4 quarters and don't run out of gas like we did against you guys in 2006. Doc Edit: If our DC, Lance Guidry, is on the sideline and not in the pressbox, he is very animated and fun to watch. He was Taggart's DC at Western Kentucky.
