2013 Depth Chart?

anyone else notice that this release is purposely titled "2013 SOUTH FLORIDA BULLS DEPTH CHART (MCNEESE ST)

 

with McNeese St on there?  obviously a motivational tool for Coach Taggart.  I haven't seen many depth charts released at the break of camp that had game 1 noted. 

 

Nothing unusual there.  Depth charts aren't static during the year.  Players develop during the year and move up.  Others get dinged up and/or get injured, sometimes lost for the season (we, McNeese fans know about that last season).   Very rarely does a depth chart stay the same from game to game.

There is always a new depth chart each week.  Players move up and down the depth chart, because of injuries if nothing else.

but i have never seen one released to start the year that has the opponents name on it

Dont be surprised to see 10 or so bodies rotate on the dl.

and dont be surprised to see this 2 deep look drastically different at the mid season point.  with a new coaching staff they have very limited time frame to make these decisions and i am not saying that the coaches are looking past McNeese St but it could be possible that they are trying to motivate a few guys.

Still trying to figure out whitehurst not being on the two deep, must be a motivational thing, i know he and Bullock were neck and neck in camp

First thing that jumped out to me as well...guess he needs some motivating.

Isn't Chandler still recovering from that foot injury? Remember him tweeting a couple months ago about a setback that he was really upset about and Coach T coming to talk to him about it. Said Coach T was like a father figure to him.
