P5; we play in an NFL stadium that is about to get a $50M tune up next summer

Yea... What are we paying for this time? A pirate ship in the south end zone? <rolls eyes>

They are reducing the number of club suites by making the remaining ones larger, they are updating the club area, new jumbo trons, and new audio

If the stadium is free, easily the stadium. A free 250 million buck asset and a boost to our profile, thus helping our case for another conf anyway

OCS...it is the future. The on campus game-day traditions need to start sooner rather than later.

P5... I am really not excited about the 2014 season in the AAC. I believe that there are more potential earnings from being in a P5 than an OCS.

Don't even know where a debate would be. P5 conference. That's the big leagues. OCS is a fan thing. Does nothing for the program if you are not in a big league conference.

Man, I was just about to say there are few things that would draw a unanimous opinion on this board but this would be one of them ....and then saw a couple of outliers.  :(

 

Your a moderator, you can make it unanimous... just kidding.

 

If we are doomed to a lifetime of being in a non-power conference, it wouldn't cost must to build a 28,000 seat "stadium" (or set of bleachers).
