Five times in his seven NFL seasons as a coordinator, his defense ranked in the top eight in the NFL in takeaways and interceptions.

Doesn't matter, doesn't matter. Forget that his defenses were extremely proficient at causing turnovers. Only note that they gave up lots of yardage, so Brezzy is clearly terrible. We'll all want him gone by week 3.

are you sure we should wait that long....coach should be ready to get rid of him after week one if it isn't working

And one is on the top 25 in NFL history for yards given up per play, over 5ypp.  And he had Woodson and Woodson on those teams with take aways.  What does that translate to in NCAA D1 terms when your team is in the top 8 of 32? That is the top 25%, so what, being ranked 30 or 40 is great in NCAA for take aways?

Perhaps you missed it, but we were, I believe, dead last in the country in takeaways last year. So yeah, I'd say if we get even in the 30's he's doing something right

Agreed when you go from last to the middle you've made great strides. Going to the 30-40 range would be excellent. With losing two starting CBs to the NFL as well.

10 Packers: 2nd points, 5th yards, 6th takeaways

11 Giants: 25th points, 27th yards, 5th takeaways
