The defense can only improve from last year.  It seems USF is getting back to their roots on defense.

Sapp never played under Bresnahan. Just missed each other -- Bresnahan finished in Oakland in 2003, Sapp got there in 2004.

I want to see results before making praise though. Remember we did that with Holtz? "Oh, he is so methodical and mild-mannered!" In the end, his teams weren't fast, aggressive, or intelligently designed.

Bres may want his players to attack the ball, specifically stating he values speed over calculation... how will we feel when gaps are created because our players are just jumping the gun?

I believe in Taggart and coach B, but I NEEEEED to see results.

Perhaps you missed it, but we were, I believe, dead last in the country in takeaways last year. So yeah, I'd say if we get even in the 30's he's doing something right

Perhaps you missed it. We didn't have any College HoF quality backs on our team, something he did on his NFL teams that were at 25% in the NFL. You can win without turnovers. You can lose with them although rarely.

Bottom of the turnover margin in college football last year. The dead last teams.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
