I want to see us put up triple digits on McNeese

Weren't they winning 10 to 7 going into the 4th quarter in 2006? A decisive win would be enough for me.

Grothes coming out party

  I think they actually pulled ahead late in the 3rd or early in the 4th.  Only remember for sure that  Matt was taking charge when the team needed it.

 

 

I want to see the pedal to the metal, the boot on the throat, unrelentless, never let up, let's grind their faces into the dirt mentality.

Off topic: I would like to here complaints about USF like the ones the 'Ville got when they kept running their offense with the 2nd and 3rd string playing, and scoring, and scoring, and passing, and scoring...

One of the questions someone asked yesterday of CWT concerned the subject of running up the score and playing not to lose.  His answer made me think that he has no problem running it up, but he also said something that made me think that he is OK with protecting a lead when called for.  Something like we don't want to do stupid things with a lead.  Maybe someone else can remember his response a little clearer than me.  But that is what I took from it.  Opponent, score differential and time left will dictate it seems like.

And to the topic, ND without a doubt.  A crazy day up there but well worth the wait.  My wife was ready to leave during the 2nd delay.  There was no way we were leaving while leading against ND at their place.  We have been up there a week.  Another 5 hours sitting/standing on concrete wasn't a problem.

ND. My memory isn't very good on this topic, was this the opener to their season that ended in the NC game or the season before?
