What I like is that it sets the benchmark at zero. With increased discipline, success and leadership he then has the opportunity to reward players by making them spokesMEN for the teamIt will be one more way to engender disciplined work ethic and good behavior, a lot of which is lacking in college sports right now. Kids need to realize that nothing good happens at the "club" when you are barking at dogs at 2am.

Looks like there will be players speaking ... Just not Lynch/Bench until the season opener or true freshmen until the bowl game.

His team, HIS RULES, He drives the Bus.

Rather keep them focused on what is important, School and the game.  Leave the interviews to the coaching and the exp players.

Good rule.

I've never been a fan of recorded interviews anyway. Always the same recycled crap.

Besides, public speaking is an art, and needs to be learned and practiced before it's done.

Coordinators and assistant coaches won't be available after games. Just Taggart and players.

Good...I won't have to decrypt too much on the ride home from the stadium.

Some of those post-game interviews...

I don't recall many post game radio interviews with assistant coaches or coordinators ... Did I block them out?
