I know so many of us live and die with recruiting news. It's like gambling with the emotions.

Okay, so far, what's been your happiest commit and biggest disappoinment?

Dang, I just realized that I've suffered more than been happy! Ain't right...

------------------------------------------------------------

Here are mine:

Happiest: Mike Ford's commit.

Saddest: Keith Brumbaugh. Second was Jonnie Selvie's commit to UConn. There are other wounds, too!

B.J.'s commitment was pretty cool.

Happiest: Ryne Giddens (At the time was a game changer)

Saddest:  Pat Julmiste/ Ronnie Banks/ Carlton Hill/ Brian Fisher (probably was our best QB at the time and it was sad). It was the Dark years before there was Skippy.

Happiest probably is Price just because it prompted my friend, a Miami graduate, to comment on my Facebook wall about it, and he is usually always down on USF.

No saddest.

Best Moments:

Mike Jenkins- The first true, big time recruit. He was willing to take the chance and bought into wha Leavitt was selling. He set the stage for other top recruits.

Matt Grothe- Was a good recruit that committed early and stayed the course without wavering.

Worst moments:

Brent Schaefer chapter 1

Brent Schaefer chapter 2

He could have been a true game changer if he wouldn't have played so many games with us in the recruiting process.

Tommy Streeter-He kept us on the line until last night before signing day. He would have made a big difference in 2009, 2010 and 2011. He would have been a true, big body receiver. Imagine in 2009 with him, Carlton Mitchell, Bogan and Griffin.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
